Company Information:
Style Holidays first year of operation was 1992 and since 1999 we have been a wholly owned subsidiary company within Thomas Cook holidays. We specialise in offering quality holidays to a small number of popular European destinations, as well as Florida. We like to think of ourselves as being a big enough company to get noticed, but one that is small enough to really care for our customers and our staff. In the numbers game we feature in the UK's top twenty tour operators, but Style Holidays is not a mass-market company.

At Style we believe that creating special holidays for our customers is more of an art than a science and requires the sort of understanding that can only be gained by having a wealth of experience and a dedication to getting it right.

We are lucky enough to have a team of people who have been with Style for many years and who intuitively understand the kind of things that make a holiday special. The Elegant logo is allocated to some of our finest properties according to our own strict criteria. It may be that a villa is situated in an exceptionally stunning location or is a building of particularly fine architecture or internal dιcor. It may have additional amenities like a CD or DVD player, a dishwasher or satellite television, or perhaps it combines all of these.

Distinct villas:
Our Distinct villas are quite simply the very best of our fabulous villa collection. Only villas that are truly special and provide that undeniable wow factor are worthy of the Distinct award. Our five Distinct villas are all very different, but every one offers all-important little extras such as hairdryers, games, DVDs and pool towels - not to mention a deluxe welcome grocery pack.

Holiday time is special and you don't want to spend it worrying, so we will provide you with all the information you require about your resort and your accommodation and will give you emergency contact numbers in case you need help or advice.

Our representatives will also give you the benefit of their local knowledge and will be happy to give you loads of good tips on the best places to go.

A helping hand:
Some of our properties may be suitable for those with restricted mobility and we recommend that you give us a call on 0871 895 1499 and we'll be happy to ensure that your chosen accommodation is suitable for your needs. In addition, we can make arrangements at airports for any assistance required, for which a charge may be applicable.

Children's clubs:
Our popular Algarve children's club provides a whole host of activities and entertainment for youngsters, as well as giving them a free sun hat, a T-shirt and a bag. Our club is packed full of fun and games, competitions and stories and operates for a minimum of two and a half hours a day, four days per week from 12th May - 5th September at the Joinal Villas , Parque Monte Verde and Villas Rufino.

Pre-bookable grocery packs:
To save you having to dash out to the shops as soon as you arrive on holiday, why not pre-purchase a grocery pack to be delivered to your accommodation on your day of arrival? These are available in two sizes, with Standard and Upgraded packs A suitable for 2-6 passengers and Standard and Upgraded packs B for 7-12 passengers.

• Water (1.5/5 litres)
• Fruit juice (1/2 litres)
• Longlife milk (1/2 litres)
• Bread (1/2 loaves)
• Butter 125/250gms
• Fruit (6/9 pieces)
• Jam or marmalade (small jar)

• Cheese spread (150gms)
• Sugar (10 sachets)

• A bottle of washing-up liquid
• A kitchen sponge
• Beer (1/2 six-pack(s) of lager)

Upgraded packs (£45/£60) include all the above plus:
• A bottle of white wine
• A bottle of red wine
• Four/six extra pieces of fruit
• Six/ten tomatoes
• A cucumber
• A lettuce
• A bottle of olive oil
• A bottle of vinegar
• Salt
• A pepper mill
• A packet of pasta
• A jar of pasta sauce
• A tin of tuna
• A packet of crackers.

All products are local brands and contents may vary slightly according to destination. Grocery packs will be delivered to your accommodation on your day of arrival.

Cots, highchairs and car seats:
Cots and highchairs can be pre-booked and paid for before you travel at a cost of £20 per item, per week, except Florida where they are payable locally at a charge of approximately $40 plus tax per tiem, per week. Cots supplied may be of the travel variety. Children aged up to and including three years (four years or under 41lbs in weight in Florida), must be secured in a child seat when travelling in a hire car. Child seats are suitable for children aged up to approximately four years (three years in the Algarve) depending on the size of the child and are not suitable for infants under approximately nine months. Child seats should be requested at the time of booking. Further information and child seat prices are featured on our price panel pages of the brochure on pages 292-312.

Car booster seats for children aged up to approximately six uears are pre-bookable in many destinations and in others must be requested at the time of booking and paid for locally. Regulations regarding age and height restrictions for the use of booster seats vary according to destination. Please refer to the car hire price panels on pages 292-312 of the brochure for further information. Equipment provided will conform to European safety standards, where applicable.

Your Financial Protection:
The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 require us to provide security for the monies that you pay for the package holidays booked from our brochure/website and for your repatriation in the event of our insolvency. We provide this security by way of a bond held by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number 1179. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. From 1st April 2008, £1 per person of the cost of air holiday packages or flights as appropriate is paid to the Civil Aviation Authority to provide ATOL Protection to you. This means the money you have paid for these arrangements is fully protected. Please ensure you retain a copy of your booking receipt and confirmation invoice. Please also note, the £1 charge is payable when you book your travel arrangements and is non-refundable if you cancel your booking.

Where you book a package holiday from our brochure/website which does not include a flight, we provide security by way of a bond held by the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO). If you book arrangements other than a package holiday or a flight from us, the financial protection above does not apply.

Airport parking:
Taking your own car to the airport is usually the most convenient and cost-effective way to start and finish your holiday. We recommend pre-booking your car parking with BCP, who offer secure parking at all the U.K.'s main airports. As well as parking BCP offer a variety of other services including a meet and greet service, a chauffeur drive express service and access to airport lounges, all at very competitive prices. For the latest rates and to book your parking, simply call the BCP Reservation Line (open from 0700 until 2230 daily) on 0870 0134500, quoting reference V1498.

Accommodation only:
We offer independent travellers the chance to book accommodation only at all our accommodation. Our Sales & Support team will quote you prices,per villa or apartment per week, and the number of people each individual property sleeps is clearly shown on the accommodation descriptions throughout the brochure. Accommodation Only is subject to availability and certain date restrictions. Prices include maid service, bed linen and towels, electricity, gas and water. They do not include car hire, transfers or grocery packs. For obvious security reasons keys cannot be left unattended, so key collection must be arranged within our normal office hours.

Accommodation only can be booked for a minimum of seven nights and in multiples of seven nights, based on the days of arrival and departure detailed below for each individual destination:

Corfu and Turkey: Mondays
Crete, Gozo and Cyprus: Tuesdays
Fuerteventura: Wednesdays
Lanzarote and Algarve: Thursdays
Menorca: Fridays
Majorca and Algarve: Saturdays
Croatia, Lefkas, Ibiza and Kefalonia: Sundays
Florida: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Due to the location of many of our villas, car hire is recommended from and to your departure airport.

Travel directions to your accommodation will be provided. These will detail the journey from your arrival. For all other airport arrival points, you will be responsible for your own travel information and directions until you are within the vicinity of your accommodation.

Flights:
We offer quality flights with a range of charter airline services from a wide selection of U.K. airports, and due to popular demand we will be adding scheduled services to our resorts. Vegetarian, special or children's meals can be requested on many flights, usually at no extra charge. Kosher meals are also available, although this may be at an additional cost. Subject to availability, you can also reserve seats together or even reserve a specific seat on the aircraft. Charges apply for these services.

Clients with restricted mobility:
Some of our properties may be suitable for clients with restricted mobility and we will be happy to ensure that your chosen accommodation is suitable for your needs. Once you have selected a property or properties of your choice, please contact our Pre-Departure Department on 0870 444 43 41 who will send you a copy of a completed disability report on your chosen accommodation. We do not keep or send out a list as all enquiries are dealt with on an individual basis. Please note we do not have any wheelchair adapted properties, but depending on the disability, some properties may be suitable. If clients are not able to use the included car hire (where applicable) or coach transfer to the accommodation, a taxi transfer can be arranged at an additional cost. We can also make arrangements at the airports for assistance required, for which a charge may be applicable. Clients who require the constant use of a wheelchair are recommended to take their own folding variety.

Car hire:
We have teamed up with leading car rental organisations in all our destinations, allowing us to offer pre-bookable car hire at excellent rates. Car hire prices, details and terms and conditions can be found on the pricing pages for each destination. We particularly recommend booking car hire for holidays taken during early or late season when local facilities may be limited.

Please note that we recommend you consider the amount of luggage you will be taking to ensure that your allocated car will be suitable for your needs.

Insurance:
It is compulsory and a condition of booking that you have adequate travel insurance for the duration of your holiday. If you decide not to take our recommended policy you must arrange your own cover to a similar or higher standard and let us know the name of your alternative insurer.

Health precautions:
Health facilities, hygiene and disease risks vary worldwide. You should take health advice about your specific needs as early as possible. Sources of information include the following websites; www.fco.gov.uk, www.hpa.org.uk and www.nathnac.org.uk and also your General Practitioner or a specialist clinic.

Whilst many Western European and North American destinations currently have no compulsory inoculation requirements, advice about destinations can change. Customers travelling to worldwide destinations are recommended to seek advice from the sources mentioned above.

If you are visiting a European Union (EU) country you should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) and take it with you when you travel. The EHIC can be obtained free of charge by completing an application form available from main Post Offices and from www.dh.gov.uk/travellers. Please note, the EHIC is in addition to travel insurance, not instead of it.

Fitness to fly:
You may need permission to fly from your doctor if you suffer from certain medical conditions, which may mean you also require assistance from the airline. Should you have any concerns about your fitness to fly and you are flying with Thomas Cook Airlines (TCX) please contact 0870 243 04 16. For other airlines please contact our Pre-Departure on 0871 895 1499.

Scuba diving:
You are strongly advised against scuba diving within 24 hours before travelling by air.

Pregnancy:
Regulations vary from airline to airline, but some will refuse to carry women who will be 28 weeks or more pregnant on the date of return travel. If you are in doubt, please check with the airline concerned. We recommend that you also consult your GP.

Under 18:
If you are under 18 and travelling to the U.S.A. without a parent or guardian, you should take with you a written consent form signed by a parent or guardian and giving permission for medical treatment to be given in an emergency.

Passports & visas - Your responsibility:
It is the responsibility of passengers to ensure that they have valid, acceptable passports and any required visa or any other documentation for the travel they are to undertake. Passengers without the correct documentation may be refused carriage by the airline or entry into any country. Where entry is refused, fines or other financial penalty will be imposed on or by the airline and the passenger(s) concerned will be required to immediately return to their country of departure. Any passenger who travels without the required passport/visa or other documentation is solely responsible for and must immediately pay all fines, surcharges, other financial penalty, costs (including the cost of their immediate return flight) and any other sums of any description which are incurred or imposed by the airline or incurred by ourselves. This will be the case regardless of whether the lack of correct documentation is spotted at the departure airport. We can accept no liability in this situation and no compensation, expenses, refund or other sum will be paid.

Biometric passports may soon be required for entry to the U.S.A. For the latest information contact your travel agent or the US Embassy on 020 7499 9000 (www.usembassy.org.uk).

A visa is required for holidays to Turkey at a cost of £10 per person, available on arrival in Turkey and payable only in English bank notes. Cheques, credit cards, coins and Scottish bank notes are not accepted and no change is given.

If travelling on your honeymoon you will need to travel in the name that is stated on your passport (i.e. your maiden name should you not have had the opportunity to get your passport changed).
